Namaste, I'm
Vaibhav R. Patil

I'm thrilled you're here!

To sum up my life philosophy, I find the following statement to be apt:

“Life is what you make of it.”

I have always believed in this statement, inspiring me to do more and improve myself. With this motto in mind - I have always strived to brighten up people’s lives and inspire them. I also know for a fact that - You can only inspire people, motivation is something that comes from within.

Growing Up:

With working parents - I had a tough time at the daycare and then at school. Life was hard but I always strived to improve my situation because I knew that life was a gift and so I cherished it. There is a peculiar story about how I became good at storytelling - My mother, while leaving for the office, would play a cassette of children’s stories and lay her dupatta across my face - as I slept in the wee morning hours. I remember those stories to date and developed an innate talent for storytelling and maybe that’s why I have a creative bent of mind.

My Teens:

I was never a great student - but my knack for storytelling only blossomed during this time. For my Parents - I always had an excuse; For my teachers - I always had an explanation and for my friends - I always had a story to tell. I picked up a lot of creative skills even though I was studying to become an engineer.

PS: I cleared my Bachelor of Engineering with First Class ;)

My 20s:

I quickly figured that life was hard but so it was for everyone. I also learnt an important lesson that Gold is moulded under intense heat and pressure. So, if you wanted to stand out, one has to be an outlier and so I became one.

I have always tried to be a generalist rather than a specialist. I quickly figured out that being a jack of all trades wasn’t a bad thing, after all. I tried my hand at a lot of things and excelled at most of them.

I always believe that you can learn anything, if - you do it with your heart and give it some time and patience.

My 30s:

I married the love of my life and started a family which I like to call - My Small World. 🌏

I work doing things that help a lot of people and give me a certain kind of satisfaction that is rare to find in any other corporate job. I remain grateful to the Almighty for this opportunity.

Also, it is my endeavour to keep making content that my daughter would be proud of. It could be my non-fiction books or story books in a e-book format or making content on YouTube. All of this is part of my effort to leave a legacy behind for my loved ones.

What I love doing:

In a nutshell - I love brightening up people’s lives. It could be through words that give comfort or with visuals that inspire people to “Be More”.

My mantra for life is :

“आपले नशीब आपल्या हाती, कर्मा अनुसार गती”

This acts as a constant reminder that we are small increments of our actions. This nudges me to do the things that matter the most to me and work towards leaving a legacy that my daughter and dear ones would be proud of.

Truly Yours,
Vaibhav
